Join us for an evening of candid conversation with four experienced musicians, discussing the balance between writing and releasing original music and sustaining a career in the industry.
Part of We Make Culture’s Next Steps programme, the panel is made up of:

David Brewis (Field Music)

Cortney Dixon
All of which are actively writing, releasing and touring original music worldwide and make an income through various “portfolio careers”. This is a fantastic chance to hear from the horses mouth the realities of being a working artist and musician in 2025, the highs and the lows and how the landscape has changed throughout the years that they have been active.
