A market leading client, who are internationally recognisable, with a footprint across Europe; are looking to support their ongoing data strategy with the appointment of an aspiring Data Engineer.
This role is instrumental to the respective business’ long term plans and has been highlighted as a strategic position, to enable real in the moment analysis, to support overall decision making. A huge part of this vision is to enable stakeholders to fully understand data, through the use of innovative visualisations and KPIs; to help provide an insight to activity across the platform.
You will partner with the various platform teams across the business and act as a point of liaison, to help determine which data is required and how to use this for the betterment of the business. The organisation are up to date with all modern technologies and investment into Data Science and Machine Learning is on the horizon, with development opportunities in this field in place for you moving forward.

To be considered, we are looking for experience of:
– Extract, Transform & Load Procedures – using SSIS would be great; with advanced SQL to investigate unsuccessful tasks
– Data Warehousing Development experience – using any popular methodology would be fantastic
– SQL Expertise – if you consider yourself as bilingual, SQL being your second language, we want to hear from you
– A distinct ability to present extensive data in acute visualisations for optimal insight
– A passion for data
