Our services include provision of the tills and electronic point of sale (ePOS and mPOS) systems found at the information desks, end to end customer service to cardholders, a full finance & reconciliation service, and centre support for transaction and hardware issues.  We develop and provide our clients with a wide range of bespoke technology solutions to support the ongoing effective delivery of their gift card programmes.

The Role                                                                                                                                                                                  

We are recruiting for a self-motivated developer to work within a small and dynamic development team.  The key responsibilities of the post holder will be to develop and implement new products and services as well as maintain and improve our existing product/service range.  The successful individual will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate well with the wider team.  They will participate in weekly project review meetings and code reviews. 

Required:

• Minimum 2 years commercial experience in a web/software development role.

• Experience of creating web applications/services using .NET technologies such as ASP .NET WebForms, MVC, WCF or Web API.
• Experience of integration with in-house or 3^rd party Services/APIs.
• Intermediate knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework.
• Experience with using databases and SQL Server technologies, ideally Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of source control systems such as Team Foundation Server.
• Competent in UX and UI design.
• Experience of the full software development life cycle and different development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of IIS.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Advantageous:

• A good understanding of mobile/cloud applications and technology.
• Familiar with other technologies including; HTML5/CSS, WPF, XML, JSON.
• Advanced knowledge/experience of SQL Server technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks i.e. Bootstrap / JQuery / Angular JS

• VB .NET.
• Advanced knowledge of IIS.
