SQL BI Developer, Power BI, DAX, SSIS, SSRS, Permanent, 100% remote working.
Lithium3 are working with a UK based Charity that are looking for a genuinely 100% remote SQL Developer with Power BI and DAX skills.
Salary is £36k – £42k.
They have a fantastic benefits package as they will double your pension contribution. For example, if you put in 8%; they will put in 16% into your pension and they cap it at this amount.
You will also receive 26 days holidays + your bank holidays and your holidays will increase by a day with every year of service and this is capped at 30 days holidays + your bank holidays.
You will join a dedicated Business Intelligence team handling data to pass onto the business stakeholders to analyse.
You shall be tasked with supporting a wide variety of solutions using Power BI and SQL (SSRS, SSIS). The ideal candidate needs to have used DAX before but doesn’t have to be an expert (SQL and Power BI is more important). This is an opportunity to work with DAX and improve your skills. You would get support to improve DAX but will need to be a self-learner.
You shall be responsible for making sure that the actual design of the systems achieves the performance that is required by the business.
You shall be working with external partners and internal stakeholders to create and develop datasets as well as applications.
Any experience of the following is desirable:- Jira, GitHub, Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps.
Skills Required:-
• Experience with enterprise systems / applications
• Experience of working with 3rd party applications
• Experience of troubleshooting
• Experience of building as well as experience of maintaining databases for tracking problems and queries
• Experience of building data sets
• Experience of Data Quality and Data Governance
