As part of our expansion we now have a great opportunity for a full stack developer to join a growing software team based in the heart of the North East developing SaaS applications, working on a combination of green-field development, maintenance and support throughout the entire lifecycle from concept and system design through to live deployment and support.
Essential skills:
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio
- C# / .Net (latest versions including Core)
- MVC
- HTML5 / CSS / JQuery / Bootstrap
- MS SQL Server 2014+
- WCF / industry standard API integrations (JSON, Restful etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Big Data technologies – Hadoop stack / NoSQL / Graph DB
- AI Technologies – Tensorflow / Caffe / Matlab / R / Octave / Fortran
- Cloud Experience – AWS application development, deployment & support, AWS Server less Application Model
- TFS
- Angular JS / VueJS
- Asp.net 5 / MVC 6 / Core / api
- UI Design
The successful applicants will join the company as a software developer working as part of a small team developing SaaS products for the insurance industry, working with insurance companies, suppliers, police forces and all supporting industries both within the UK and worldwide (We are currently working with clients in the UK, USA, Europe & Australia).
Our company specialises in using cutting edge technologies to save cost and improve customer experience, using computer vision, artificial intelligence, real-time high-volume data analysis, deep learning and statistical modelling technologies.
Based in Newcastle city centre (less than 200 yards from central station), you’ll be working as part of a fast-paced results focused team in an agile environment with the latest technologies (including full access to any required systems or licenses such as full MSDN, all Microsoft products etc.)
