Job Description
We are looking for an ASP.NET MVC developer that will be able to develop and support an existing accounting SaaS platform. A self-starter who can work under their own direction and become the key contributor in how the platform evolves. The main scope of work will include everything from back-end to client-side code, including integration with third party services and ERP systems. Your primary responsibilities will be to support, design and develop this application. Therefore, it’s essential that you are skilled at problem solving, solution design, and high-quality coding.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design and delivering high-quality features
- Analyzing requirements and designing new functionality
- Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support the system
- Provide technical support whilst improving/fixing existing functionality
- Test and deploy features and improvements
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Skills
- Experience in software development using C# .Net 4+ and Visual Studio
- Passion for working with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Experience developing cross-browser web applications and single page applications for mobile
- Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and finalize design and interfaces
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cloud based environments and Continuous Integration
- Experience with RESTful services and integration with ERP systems advantageous
- Experience with mobile development technologies advantageous
- Experience with Accounting and ERP Systems advantageous
