The Faculty of Medicine is undertaking an exciting augmentation of its postgraduate curriculum, which will instil new and innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices, by digitally enhancing its curricula.

We are looking for creative and highly experienced e-Learning Technologists to develop, implement, maintain, support and co-ordinate the delivery of online and blended modules as part of a transformation of the pedagogical approach in our postgraduate programmes.

As part of the Postgraduate Digital Education Team, you will collaborate with the other Learning Technologists, Designers, our Digital Project Manager and academic teams across the Faculty of Medicine to develop high quality blended and online modules and programmes, to transform the way we teach and our students’ learning experience.

In order to hit the ground running, you will have:

  • Experience of developing digital materials working for, or in partnership with, Higher Education institutions.
  • Experience of using web-based technologies in the delivery of teaching and learning resources
  • A strong technical expertise of VLE (ideally Blackboard) and usual educational tools,
  • A solid experience in delivering online and blended learning curricula,
  • The ability to provide professional e-learning support to a variety of users,
  • Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills, and flexibility.
